the HAIR LOFT ltd was started in 1980 by husband and wife duo Richard and Debi Johnson. After all this time, the vision for the salon hasn’t changed with the lead of their son Benjamin Jay who has combined his creative mind with his heart for education in order to continue one of Chicago’s most passionate salons.

the HAIR LOFT ltd wants to impact peoples lives in a positive manner. It’s said that when you look good, you feel good and when people feel good, they’re positive about themselves and their lives. More than just hair stylists, the geniuses on the HAIR LOFT ltd Team are confidence builders.

the HAIR LOFT ltd views the salon as more than a service, it’s an art. Hair is designed as a complete art form, not a separate entities. This focus stems from an in salon education program called Visionary Education. This program is designed to grow knowledge in cutting, color, and texture as well as how to have a great attitude and respect for others.
